Electrician Nanango
Mangan’s Electrical have been servicing the Nanango and South Burnett for generations.
Nanango is a peaceful and charming country town – the ideal service and administrative centre for its surrounding shire.
With its rich historical past, stunning natural beauty and friendly locals, it’s the perfect place to visit or call home.
Located 190 kilometres (118 mi) north-west of Brisbane, Nanango lies at the junction of the D’Aguilar Highway and the Burnett Highway.
Sandy Creek runs through the town, and forms part of the Burnet River catchment. This richly fertile area is ideal for agricultural and other resources, but the risk of flooding can cause vegetation loss in riparian zones, spread weed species, and pose other biosecurity issues.

Discover why Nanango offers the perfect blend of heritage and vibrancy.
Founded by Jacob Goode in July 1848, the first commercial establishment at present-day Nanango was Goode’s Inn – a popular stopping point for travellers from Brisbane and Limestone (now known as Ipswich).
With this in mind, Nanango proudly claims to be the fourth oldest town in Queensland.
Although others were surveyed earlier, its claim is based on the establishment of Goode’s Inn. A rough slab structure that met licensing conditions, it quickly became the meeting centre for early settlers of Taromeo, Tarong and Nanango stations. The town was eventually surveyed in 1861.
